The best way to celebrate the first day of winter is on skis!
It will be milder on Thursday, likely some light snow, perfect snow-globe skiing! Jackson has great conditions, so let's head over there again. If the Ellis is groomed from the Rocky Branch, we can do the one way trip down. This will include the new Kellogg Trail! If the new Keeney Trail is groomed instead of the Ellis, we can do that. It is a fantastic trail. We can decide which to do depending on the morning's trail report
Meet inside the Jackson Ski Touring Center at 10:00 am, we will depart from there, be ready to ski. Bring snacks and beverage (a thermos of hot water or tea is a nice option!).
Before December 31st, if you have a season's pass at Great Glen or Bretton Woods Nordic, you can ski at JacksonXC for $5. Likewise, a Jackson season's pass holder can ski at Great Glen or Bretton Woods Nordic for $5 until the 31st.
Also, if you area MWV Bike club member, you can buy a season's pass at JacksonXC for $119 (do this through Todd at the bike club).
