No doubt about it, I am canceling the ThursdaySki this week. The weather just won't give us a good snowstorm this year.
It has been amazing how good the xc skiing has been considering all that we have been dealt!!
I don't see that a WednesdaySki alternative is worth posting. It might be good to get out at about 8:00 am to enjoy the snow before it changes to sleet then freezing rain in the afternoon. Each forecast I see has a different tiing on this. You might see me out on the Ellis tomorrow early morning in the snow.
I hope for better next week!!
ThursdayBike might start up earlier than usual this season.
Speaking of Biking....
Anyone thinking about the C&O Canal-Great Allegheny Passage Bike Tour this September?? We have 8 participants. We need 2 more for the second set of 5 to get a 20% discount (Adventure Cycling does discounts in groups of 5). September 17-24. Check out the tour on www.adventurecycling.org.
Also, a closer to home tour: Cycle Massachusetts has an interesting route this year the goes along the southern MA border to the northern RI and CT borders, out to NY and the Berkshires. July 30-August 5 with shorter options possible. www.cyclema.com
