Looking at the forecast for this Thursday, I am not inspired to post a ride. Temperatures will be about the freezing mark with snow and ice pellets. Without enough snow on the ground I can't even post a ThursdaySki! What to do????? Get out the microspikes, again.

Bear Notch Road is still not quite ready for biking. The Thursday ride last week brought us to the gate area to look at the situation. Bill took some photos of us on the snow, ice and pavement mix. On Saturday I microspiked up to the top to investigate further. There are sections of ice and snow, also some sunny sections that are dry pavement. With the cold weather and snow lately, not much more is melting away. Maybe next week....
