North Road: Shelbourne to Bethel, 9:00 am
MIGHT BE good weather for ThursdayBike. According to Tuesday's forecasts, it should be possible to get this ride in before any thunderstorms come in.
BUT!!! Please check this site Wednesday evening and Thursday morning before you head outside just in case the weather forecast looks like it is not a good idea to do this ride!! I will switch the ride to fit the forecast!
The ride from Shelbourne to Bethel is mostly in the shade.
Starting in Shelbourne Village instead of the usual Hogan Road parking area cuts out some miles, cuts out a few sharp climbs at the end, and adds a nice ride on a quiet road with nice views and the donkey running alongside us.
Start: ready to ride at 9:00 am.

To get to the parking area take Route 16 north to Gorham, hang a right on Route 2, go about 4.5 miles. Take a left into Shelbourne Village, (might be signed as Meadow Road) then very shortly afterward take a right into the tiny village. Park in the playing field/ballpark on the left side of the road (via a dirt driveway).
