With a storm coming in on Wednesday Night and Thursday, skiing and driving will not likely be fun in the wind and blowing snow.
Wednesday during the day looks good. Anyone want to ski on Wednesday -- meet at JacksonXC, in the lodge, at 10:00 am. We will do what is groomed -- either Prospect Farm or North Hall area, perhaps? (UPDATE: 6 ThursdaySkiers had a great WednesdaySki today -Ellis-Wifferdill, South Hall out and back)
I will not post a ski adventure for this Thursday due to the storm. Enjoy the Snow Day!!!!
NEXT WEEK if conditions allow, I would like to ski the trails of Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring Foundation. It would be a tour of all the trials from Intervale into North Conway and Whittaker Woods. For a special apres-ski event, Lisa Baughn will make "Michigans" for us. These special hot dogs with hamburger sauce (?) are uniquely from Lisa's stomping ground in the Plattsburgh, NY area (...not Michigan?). What's a "Michigan"? Come try one or two after skiing next week.. Let's hope that the new snow lasts for us until next Thursday!!
Trail passes are half price with a JacksonXC season's pass, free for Conway residents, or $15 for adults, $10 for over 60. More details next week!
